i'm having dry cough due to chips, pizzas, ba kua, almond biscuits, fried prawns. GAH! please don't get sick, new year's approaching.
i've failed to minimize the bomb impact radius of my discrete maths paper today. it's definitely a c4, not a grenade.

Common test. i'm dreadin' it. (note: say it with mc donald's jingle tune. alright, lame.)
i underestimated today's c programming common test. so i'm quite sure it's bombed. maybe i wouldn't fail, but the pass definitely wouldn't be good either. i was slow in the paper (like all other papers since k1), and so i completed just with five minutes left. in the short time given, i browsed the papers for errors and found a rather major mistake in my flow chart and program code. damn! it's like thirty percent of the whole damn thing! i'm too lazy to type now, let pictures do the job.
c programming to me: "boy, your game's over..." *evil laughter*
shouts out to c programming: "i'm not gonna cry over spilt milk. i'll pop two coins into the slot and pwn you bastard hard the next round."
GAH-ed, out.

Wasted Youth. rofl.
the presentation didn't turn out as bad as i think and we all are pretty relaxed after that. so while other groups were struggling hard to get theirs over and done with, rico and i went to wasted our youth.
this isn't really parkour as we are just noobs and all that we've got are balls, some ideas and a handphone digital camera.

It's a new year, but the same old shit.
it's a new year, but still the same old shit.
there's extra lessons for c programming at ten but i overslept and was late by half an hour. see, rushing projects at the eleventh hour sucks. actually, i should have skipped the whole of c prog because i slept through the whole thing.
so after c prog, the gang and i went grassroot club to chill for a while before rico and i joined yani and shireen in the lecture to touch up on our powerpoint slides for data communication presenation. the lecture ended at six and went over to yani's for the preparation of the presentation which was the next day.i had a very light breakfast, skipped lunch and finally had a quick dinner at yani's. from left to right, curry tuna, laksa instant noodles and seafood pasta. when you are hungry, even junkies taste good.
after finishing up the work, it was ten plus and i made my way home. blur me took a bus in the wrong direction and i landed me at somewhere damn ulu. it was already eleven-thirty and sparing a thought for my presentation the next day, i cabbed home.
hell knows where the bus goes. there wasn't a single soul on it except the driver and me.
anyway to end this with a pinch of humour, try picturing what would've happened if i had gave the pole a flick.

Hi all, Happy New Year, best wishes.
it had been a fucked up year as kai said and i've got to agree. for we lucky asses down in this sunny island, of course it isn't much. but do spare a thought for the rest of the world. the countless irremediable calamities, martyrdom, innocent killings, blah blah. let's all hope this will be a better year for all, not forgetting the needies in africa but excluding shitbags like bin laden. cheers everybody.
my new year was spent with kai, loong and porky. at around eight at night, we all met at lau pa sat for dinner and some beer with ox, who isn't joining us for the night. we did some catching up and ox told us we've got to go some house party near raffles town club because it would be damn good. thinking that he had always been some sort of reliable source, we trusted him. after ox parted with us, we headed for town where loong did his new year visitings and wishings. i was impatiently tagging along and waiting but bumped into some friend who doesn't want to be known as flora. and guess what, i called her FLORA aloud in the presence of all her friends creating a burst of laughter from them. we battled the crowds along orchard and took a bus down to raffles town club.
the moment we reached the party, some "bouncer" claimed twelve from us as entrance. i swear i could have knocked down the bouncer with some effort because he's like underaged plus small? LOL, but anyway it was a house party and the "bouncers" were probably friends of the host and were just helping out. after spending twenty minutes there, we came to a conclusion that the party was lousy for us because...
1) we don't know the people.
2) the dance floor was too cramp and dark for us to make friends.
3) we love food and there's none.
4) there's no alcohol unless we buy them ourselves.
5) some people we shouldn't meet were there.
unfortunately, i did not make it in time to leave earlier and was caught in the cataclysmic countdown. when the clock struck twelve, everbody unleashed their foam sprays. as life's always imperfect, there were a few morons who were dumb enough to spray sticky coloured ribbon and it got onto my shirt. thank tua pei kong i wasn't wearing white! so while the party broke into a catastrophe, we leopard crawled our way to the main door, under the shower of whizzing bullets and exploding grenades to claim our freedom. as we left, we bitched about ox for conning us. there went my twelve bucks to charity, err nope, i mean a rich host. we could have gotten something else better than that, like topping up a few dollars and going a good club but anyway the money's gone, so forget about it.
i was trained in leopard crawl in 2004 but found no purpose in it. it was only till two years later, during this new year that it became a godsend. people, learn whenever you have the chance. you wouldn't know when the hell you'll need that.
so i've learnt the leopard crawl and put it into good use... have you?
NO?!
alright, so have you seen this?
JOIN...
we went to a bus stop and thought hard where could we go besides home.
the emokids' night out. from furthest to closest, kai, loong and me, wishing all an emo new year.
pool junction struck my mind. why not? better than doing nothing right? we can listen to pj's music, play pool and last but not least makan and drink teh at the indian mama that's just a stone throw away. we took a bus down to newton to get a drink and i bumped into jielun. HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY JIELUN! by the way he's a good friend of mine whom i met during 2005's new year. time flies huh. after parting with jielun, i made a table reservation and we cabbed down. i was surprised that the waiting list wasn't long. maybe it was only one plus and most were still tipsy over champagnes. i met aaron, joel, joline and james there and wished them. we played pool and then went over to the indian mama for prata and a drink.
good things had to come to an end. we all shared a cab home to collapse on our beds.
yawn. spelling check tomorrow, out.
