i couldn't sleep last night. thoughts brought me back to around a year ago, where i worked in that fucked up dessert bar. i felt this burning rage in me and had the urge to wallop the boss (once again, the one who speaks like he's having an orgasm.) at times, i still itch to know the reasons for him dismissing me by placing an offence of theft on me. seriously, losing the job isn't big deal as i was just working to accumulate experience. wreck your brains, go ahead and come up with other reasons for laying me off. don't tarnish my good reputation among all the colleagues there. i had been good, we (the pioneer crew) watched the outlet opened, overcame the odds by improvising old plans everytime they don't work out smooth. we battled the countless traffic of customers and even raced down orchard road to confront free loaders. we cared for each other when one suddenly felt unwell. these were all nice memories, but why did they have end ugly?
answer: the world isn't nice.
but not to worry, i've not given up on the world. yes, it's generally fugly but there are still little things that exist that can actually change the fact.

May Jin Xian be reunited with us
i got so damn sick with a full house of sicknesses and had to see the doctor. i walked out of the clinic with medicine enough to open a drug store. anyway don't talk about being sick, i'm already better today. mom stocked up plenty of new year goodies at one corner of the living room but i can only stare at them and fantasize. that sucks. worse, i could only get a sniff of the godly ba kua. i'm gonna wallop them all when i recover! *EVIL LAUGHTER*
school was a bore especially i'm not totally well. of the gang, only liang and ghim came. rico took leave since he's still sicker than me (no doubt, being sicker both physically and in the mind.) as for our poor jin xian, i received a telegram from him this early morning saying that he was captured by the malayan army while he was sound asleep. how despicable! now, he's being held in the detention barracks for interrogation on reasons for being AWOL from the army since the first day of enlistment. rofl. his deferment document sent earlier on must have travelled a long way from here to malaysia and probably failed terribly to reach the destination in one single piece. hope he's fine now. i'll try paying him a visit when i go malaysia for chinese new year weeks later.
hui sheng, po and i are quite dead. next week's group presentation on some CREATIVE THINKING project and i'm still unclear what the hell it's about. gonna get my ass moving tomorrow.
by the way, it is nyp's open house this thursday and friday. the school gave out the open house tees to us hoping we'll wear it on the open house day. i'm quite sure that not much would want to wear. i mean it's just... let pictures do the job.
I-N-N-O-V-A-T-I-V-E, innovative!
the t-shirt reads 'innovative'. acceptable, but now take a look at the bigger picture.
done looking? some alienated looking horizon matched with some random balls floating in the middle of nowhere. accordingly to the caption, it says 'INNOVATION', which means some part of it must be innovative somehow. so... WHERE IS THE INNOVATION IT PROMISED? rofl, rofl. after thinking for a moment, i guess that it may be some sort of abstract art (e.g. wetting a ball of toilet paper, smashing it on a drawing block, adding paint, framing it and lastly, calling it art) or probably it will only look innovative if a suitable person is wearing it.
god bless..
rico who's ill and needs a speedy recovery,
jin xian whose whereabout is currently unknown to be reunited with the gang,
and america.

Bombed.
i'm having dry cough due to chips, pizzas, ba kua, almond biscuits, fried prawns. GAH! please don't get sick, new year's approaching.
i've failed to minimize the bomb impact radius of my discrete maths paper today. it's definitely a c4, not a grenade.

Common test. i'm dreadin' it. (note: say it with mc donald's jingle tune. alright, lame.)
i underestimated today's c programming common test. so i'm quite sure it's bombed. maybe i wouldn't fail, but the pass definitely wouldn't be good either. i was slow in the paper (like all other papers since k1), and so i completed just with five minutes left. in the short time given, i browsed the papers for errors and found a rather major mistake in my flow chart and program code. damn! it's like thirty percent of the whole damn thing! i'm too lazy to type now, let pictures do the job.
c programming to me: "boy, your game's over..." *evil laughter*
shouts out to c programming: "i'm not gonna cry over spilt milk. i'll pop two coins into the slot and pwn you bastard hard the next round."
GAH-ed, out.

Wasted Youth. rofl.
the presentation didn't turn out as bad as i think and we all are pretty relaxed after that. so while other groups were struggling hard to get theirs over and done with, rico and i went to wasted our youth.
this isn't really parkour as we are just noobs and all that we've got are balls, some ideas and a handphone digital camera.
